Send a fax online: how it works from any device
How it works in four steps
- Upload a file or photograph the paper with your phone camera. You can add several files at once.
- Enter the fax number with the country code. If the number is in the letter, we take it over automatically.
- If you like, fill in a cover page with recipient, subject and a short message.
- Send. You see which page is being transmitted, and afterwards you get the transmission report as a PDF.
Entering the fax number correctly
First choose the recipient's country. The country code is then already set. Enter the number itself without the leading zero, so in Germany the fax number 030 1234567 becomes +49 30 1234567. Only for Italy does the zero belong to the number and stay in.
Fax numbers usually have 7 to 12 digits without the country code. You can include spaces, parentheses and slashes. We remove them.

When the line is busy or nobody answers
If the line is busy or the fax machine does not pick up, we redial automatically, up to three attempts. If the fax still does not get through, the reason is in the report. We do not charge for pages that were not delivered.

To get started, there is the 48 hour pass for €0.99 with up to 50 fax pages. If you do not cancel it within the 48 hours, you then continue with faxpostal Standard for €29.99 every 4 weeks with 500 fax pages. We remind you by email 24 hours before the switch. All prices
FAQ
Does the recipient have to be online?
No. The fax goes to a normal fax machine or to the recipient's fax service. They do not need anything special.
Can I fax from my phone?
Yes. Photograph the paper with the camera. We straighten the image and turn it into a clean fax page.
Can I also receive faxes?
Not at the moment. faxpostal sends faxes and letters.
Do I need an account?
No. We create your account with your email address the first time you send. You sign in without a password, using a code sent by email.
