Why both?

Neither a fax transmission report nor the tracking status of registered mail proves receipt on its own. But both count as evidence. Sent in parallel, you have two independent time-stamped records.

Do I need an account?

No. We create your account automatically with your email address when you send. You will find all reports there later.

What does fax and letter in parallel mean?

You upload the document once and enter the fax number and address. The fax goes out right away, and the letter is printed and handed over to the post the same business day. Both appear under one shipment number in one report.

When do I pay, and for what exactly?

Only in the last step. There you see every item separately. Faxes run on a pass or subscription, letters are always paid per item.

Can I send several letters at once?

Yes. Upload all documents together, even to different recipients. We read the address from each document and create separate shipments. If the letter contains a line like By fax in advance to: +49 30 1234567, we also take the fax number.

How fast does the letter arrive?

For orders placed by 2 pm on business days, we hand the letter over to the post the same day. In Germany, the Postgesetz requires 95 percent of letters to be delivered by the third business day.

What types of registered mail are there?

Registered mail with mailbox delivery and registered mail handed over against signature. We send both within Germany.

Does this replace my signature?

No. Where the law requires written form with handwritten signature, for example for employment contracts and apartment leases in Germany, neither a fax nor a printed letter is enough.

Which currency do I pay in?

In the currency of the country you chose at the top right. You set country and language separately.

How do I cancel?

In your account under Subscription and payments, in two clicks. Or without signing in via Cancel contracts here at the very bottom of every page.
